I did something really fun this month, I participated in the 5th Annual Food Blogger Cookie Swap. It's a yearly event, put on by Love and Olive Oil and The Little Kitchen. Each year they get hundreds of food bloggers to participate, and they do it all for charity. Specifically, Cookies for Kids Cancer. It was a really awesome thing to join in on, and it feels awesome knowing that there's a whole community of food bloggers I'm now part of. Our community raised over $7,000!
So these cookies. Let's talk about them. I didn't want to make something too plain, because I wanted to impress the people I was sending my cookies to. I tried a few different recipes. But this is the one I settled on. A fudgy, rich chocolate cookie, with a whole lot of heat.
