So I need to be honest. I've never successfully made waffles. Until now at least. Normally when I attempt waffles I undercook them, prepare the batter wrong, or burn my hand on the waffle iron. So when I got a craving for waffles about a week ago I was frankly a little disappointed.
But by some miracle I was able to absolutely nail this breakfast food. I also put my own little twist on the recipe I found online, adding orange zest and orange flavoring to the waffles.
